Namaste! Thank you for taking the time to look into our policy on returns, exchanges and refunds. It’s probably safe to assume that you’re interested I n reading this because you might want to return a product you are currently looking to purchase or that you recently purchased.

While your reason to do so is completely justified, before you go ahead, we’d like for you to take a moment to understand how our products are made. Every KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE product is handcrafted by Kutch’s traditional crafts people with care, time and patience. We assure you that all our products are a labour of love.

Owing to their uniqueness, our products may be slightly different from each other. We’d like for you to not think of an irregular weave, print or stitch as a defect. Remember, handloom by definition means a glorious uncertainty when it comes to uniformity.

Each of our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase or gift, under certain circumstances, we will replace the product free of cost.

Please read below our return and exchange policies before you return any item:

• What can and cannot be returned?
You’re probably happy to know that we can offer returns and exchanges on certain products but still disappointed that we don’t offer them on all. Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for return/s before placing an order with us.

• As you know, we admire and respect the efforts and artistry of hands that brought life to each of KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE’s products. We feel you share the same view with us, so we request you to return your purchase/s with care.

• To be eligible for a return, the KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE product must be unused, unwashed, must be in the same condition as you received it, and have the original KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE tag/s attached.

• To complete your return, we’d like for you to return our products in their original packaging, along with your invoice/s within 10 days of receiving the merchandise.

• Oh no, you received a damaged or incorrect product?

In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, you should email us a photo of the damaged product/s with the barcode within 48 hours of receiving your order/s.

• Give you a full refund for the price you paid for the product/s

• Oh no, you’re simply not satisfied with what you have received OR just not into it (ouch!)?

We promote conscious consumerism, and therefore would like for you to consider your purchase carefully. We put a lot of effort into providing product/s details and images to help you make an informed decision before placing an order. So, if you’re reluctant to purchase something that you have yet to see in person, we think it’s safe to say that if you’re drawn to it online then you will not be disappointed when you receive the product/s.

In case this still doesn’t sound convincing enough, here’s what we can do:
• Exchange the product/s with an alternative of your choice (of course of the same purchase value)
• Give you a full refund for the price you paid for the product/s


Understanding Our Return and Exchange Policy

1. We at KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE have made reasonable endeavours to ensure delivery and pick-ups across multiple locations in India, currently, we have a select list of areas where deliveries and collection can be undertaken by our reverse-logistics partners.

2. Please note we do not offer reverse pickup facilities outside India.

3. Once your return/exchange request has been received and approved by us, our reverse-logistics partners shall get in touch with you in order to collect the purchased product/s within 4 business days and deliver it back to KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE at an agreed-upon time.

4. In events where we are unable to facilitate a pick-up of the purchased product/s for return, we request you to bear with us and kindly self-ship the product/s to our shipping warehouse, the address for which will be intimated to you after you have placed such a request for return. Upon self-shipping the product to our warehouse, we request you to kindly scan the courier/postal receipt/s to us for our records. The aforesaid return by self-shipping the product/s is subject to the returned product/s passing the quality checks at our Returns Desk/warehouse.

5. In case you claim to have self-shipped the product/s in accordance with the process set out above and we at KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE do not receive the returned product/s or the package/s containing such product/s is empty, we’ll require you to submit the ‘Proof of Delivery’ received from the courier/postal agency to us to prove your claim of return of the previously purchased product/s through self-shipment. Again, remember that refund/s shall be processed by us only upon receiving the returned product/s and concluding required quality checks or receiving the ‘Proof of Delivery’, as the case may be.

6. Note that the shipping charges for self-shipping will not be refunded and that you are required to bear the shipping costs to return the purchased product/s to KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE’s return address if the pin code is out of the pickup location.

7. In case of damaged product/s, KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE reserves the right to deny refund in case of soiled or damaged products. Once we receive them and confirm that they have been damaged in transit, we will accordingly fulfill your request of refund.

8. In the case of exchange/s, your new order will be dispatched to you within 2 to 3 business days after we receive and confirm that the returned product/s is in good condition.

9. We allow the return of non-returnable product/s ONLY IF there are defects and deficiencies in them (attributable to, and accepted by KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE after due verification at its sole discretion) or if any said non-returnable products are delivered late (except in case of a force majeure event including COVID-19). In such cases, we’d like for you to initiate a request within 7 days from the date of delivery of the product/s.

10. In case of refunds, once your returned product/s has been authorised, we’d be happy to process your refund. You will receive the amount back in the same payment mode that you used to place your order/s.
Remember that we will only be able to initiate your refund after we receive the product/s and it has gone through the necessary quality checks.

11. We aim to process all returns within (1) week


Understanding Our Cancellation Policy

1. If you’d like to place a cancellation request after your product/s has been shipped from our side, you can do one of the following:

o If your product has shipped but has not yet been delivered, kindly contact our Customer Support and inform them of the same. We will try our best to recall the parcel.

o In case you happen to receive your purchase, inform us, we’ll get it picked up under standard return/replacement procedures mentioned above on this page.

2. Yes, you are allowed to fully or partially cancel your order/s prior to its dispatch from KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE. Please intimate us about the same by writing to us with your order number/s.

3. In all events of cancellation prior to the dispatch of the purchased product/s, we shall initiate refund/s within 2 business days from the date we received the request from you.

4. If your order contains products sold during any of our SALE/S, bear in mind that we won’t be able to accept any requests for returns/exchanges/replacements. Please be sure before placing an order.


Understanding Our Shipping Policy

1. At KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE, we take great care in delivering your product/s to you, and we partner only with reputed national couriers. Shipping within India is FREE for all orders above ₹2000. For orders below that, we charge a flat ₹100 shipping fee.
2. Because each craftsperson and artisan’s process is unique, shipping times may vary. Make sure to check the shipping information on the product/s page for individual shipping before placing an order/s.
3. Our courier partners will be able to deliver your KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE product/s to you from Monday to Saturday: 9 AM to 7 PM. Working days exclude public holidays and Sunday/s. Delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control, including unexpected travel delays from our courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions and/or strikes.
4. We accept change in address requests ONLY IF the order hasn’t been shipped. Please note that this request can only be fulfilled if the new address is within the same state.
5. As soon as your package ships, we will email you your package tracking information.

For Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking or Paypal Transactions:
As the charge on your credit card / account would have already been done online at the time you made the purchase and authorized the payment, we will provide a refund into the original mode of payment.
If applicable, refunds would be made for the cost of the goods to the credit /debit card used for online shopping. However, shipping charges would not be refunded except where KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE has erroneously sent you a wrong item / colour / size.

For COD (Cash on Delivery) Transactions:

• Refunds will be directed to the bank account details you provide while placing return request
• Cash Refunds are not allowed for COD orders since we cannot get delivered cash through couriers
• Customers can also place a request for a reverse pick up in case reverse pick up service is available through our couriers
Refunds will only be done in the following cases:
• Genuine sizing issues, only for unused garments with tags. Please review our size guides carefully before making your purchase.
• Genuine quality issues.
• Packages lost in transit.
• In case KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE discovers any mispricing in its online catalogue and the price charged to you is higher than the actual price.
• In case KUTCH CRAFT COLLECTIVE discovers that a wrong item has been shipped to you.
• In case the customer is not happy with the purchase and has returned the item/items to the address mentioned above. In such cases the filled return form should be included in the return shipment.

No refunds will be given in the following cases:
• In case of minor design and colour variations. With handloom products there will always be some variation between products.
• Incorrect or outdated delivery address.
• Incorrect address format including any form of a PO Box address.
• After 3 failed delivery attempts by the courier.
• Package refused by recipient.
• Products returned in a used or damaged condition.

Note: Refunds will only be made after we have received the returned shipment except if the package has been lost in transit.
