This board is a mini traditional patchwork quilt made by artisans from the Nagar Parker region of Sindh to Kutch. The highly skilled geometric suf and kharek style embroidery is what attracts you to this game set. The players are miniature dhabak, protective beaded disks, made by the nomadic Rabaris of Kutch. This handcrafted Checkers set is enveloped in a Quilted Pouch with a beautiful dhabak holding it close.

Kala Raksha was founded in 1993 as a trust and society with an aim to preserve traditional embroidery and applique arts of the Kutch by making them culturally and economically viable. Kala Raksha is one of the 5 members of KCC.
